1. Who we are (data controller)
Funstorming (single-shareholder SARL, 60 rue François Ier, 75008 Paris, France; RCS Paris 979 299 021) is the data controller for the personal data described here.
For any privacy request, contact data@funstorming.com.
When you use third-party platforms (Forento, Whop, Discord, Decentraland), those providers process certain data as independent controllers or as our processors, under their own policies (see section 7).
2. What data we collect
- Identity & contact: title, first and last name, email, telephone, and any details you provide when creating an account, subscribing or contacting us.
- Account & service data: your purchases, subscriptions, event participation, and progress/usage on the learning platform.
- Community data: profession, optional geolocation, login data, and the messages, posts, polls and information you choose to share on our community platforms.
- Payment data: handled by our payment providers (Whop; and Forento’s processors such as Stripe/Polar). We do not store full card details.
- Technical data: IP address, device/browser data (model, OS version, device identifier, settings, browser type and language), pages viewed, access date/time and referring URL.
- Communications: the content of messages you send us and, where applicable, community interactions.
3. Why we use it and on what legal basis (GDPR Art. 6)
- To provide the Services and perform our contract with you — Art. 6(1)(b).
- To comply with legal obligations, e.g. accounting and tax — Art. 6(1)(c).
- For our legitimate interests, e.g. securing and improving the Services and limited direct marketing to existing customers — Art. 6(1)(f).
- With your consent, e.g. non-essential cookies and newsletters where required — Art. 6(1)(a). You can withdraw consent at any time.
4. How long we keep it
We keep personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes above and applicable legal periods:
- Contact requests: up to 1 year if there is no follow-up; otherwise as set out in any signed contract.
- Client / commercial relationship: up to 3 years from the end of the relationship.
- Community membership data: for the duration of membership and until the expiry of applicable limitation periods.
- Audience-measurement cookies: up to 13 months; raw audience data tied to an identifier is deleted within 6 months.
- Accounting records: 10 years, as required by French law.
5. Your rights
Subject to the GDPR, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict and object to processing, to data portability, to withdraw consent, and to set directives on the fate of your data after death. Exercise them at data@funstorming.com. We respond within one month.
If you believe your rights are not respected, you may lodge a complaint with the CNIL (www.cnil.fr).
6. International transfers
Some providers are located outside the EU/EEA (e.g. Whop and Discord in the United States; Decentraland infrastructure may be global). Where data is transferred outside the EU/EEA, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses or an adequacy decision.
7. Processors and third-party services
We rely on the following main providers, each governed by its own privacy policy:
- Forento AB (Sweden) — learning platform hosting the 100-Quest; acts as our data processor. Privacy policy
- Whop, Inc. (USA) — subscriptions and payments for FunCamps VIP. Privacy policy
- Discord (USA) — community platform. Privacy policy
- Decentraland (Argentina) — gamified collaborative environment. Privacy policy

8. Cookies
To date, the Website uses only strictly necessary / session cookies needed to operate it and to authenticate users, and, where applicable, audience-measurement cookies kept for up to 13 months. No third-party advertising cookies are currently used. Strictly necessary cookies do not require consent; any non-essential cookie is set only with your consent, which you can change or withdraw at any time via the cookie banner or your browser settings.
9. Children
The Services are not directed at children below the age of digital consent.

We may update this policy; the current version is always available on the Website, with the “last updated” date above.
