AI meeting notes tools join or record your meeting, transcribe it, and produce a summary with decisions and action items automatically — so no one has to choose between participating and note-taking. Set one up by connecting it to your meeting tool, confirming everyone consents to recording, and always reviewing the AI summary for accuracy before sharing.
To practice public speaking or a hard conversation with AI, role-play it: tell the AI who to be (a tough audience member, a skeptical manager, a nervous client), have the exchange, then ask for specific feedback. It's a private, judgement-free, always-available rehearsal partner — useful preparation, though no substitute for practising with real people before the real thing.
A "second brain" is an external system where you capture notes, ideas, links, and references so you don't have to hold them in your head — and AI now makes it far more useful by searching and summarising your captured knowledge in plain language. To translate well with AI, don't just paste text and copy the output — give the AI context (audience, tone, purpose), ask it to adapt rather than translate literally, and always have someone who knows the target language review the result. AI translation is a powerful first draft, not a final, especially for anything customer-facing or nuanced.
To build a chatbot without coding, use a no-code chatbot builder, give it a clear single purpose (like answering your most common questions), feed it the source material it should draw from, and test it before launch. The key to a useful first chatbot is starting narrow — one job done well beats a "do everything" bot that frustrates everyone.
To spot AI-generated content, look for the tells: generic phrasing, confident but vague claims, a smooth-but-soulless tone, repeated sentence patterns, and "facts" that sound plausible but don't hold up. The best way to build this instinct is a team exercise where you compare AI and human samples blind and discuss what gave each away — though no checklist is foolproof.
To write better AI prompts, give the model four things a good brief always has: context (the situation and goal), a role or perspective, the exact format you want, and an example or constraints. Vague prompts get vague answers; a prompt that briefs the AI like you'd brief a capable colleague gets sharp, usable ones.
To start using AI at work, pick small, low-risk tasks where a first draft or a second pair of eyes saves time — summarising long documents, drafting routine emails, reformatting messy text, brainstorming options, and explaining unfamiliar material. Treat the AI as a fast junior assistant whose work you always review, and you'll get value this week without betting anything important on it.
